Ceramir Product TechnologyCeramir utilizes nanotechnology, and consequently has some unique properties. The material consolidates through its reaction with water, first dissolving and then re-crystallizing as nanocrystalline hydrates. This reactions creates a unique type of bond between material and tooth (as well as the restoration material) built on surface energy and mechanical interlocking at the nano-level. Together with the materials alkaline pH, its ability to re-mineralize tissue and create apatite on the surface this gives a material that has superior sealing abilities and tissue friendliness compared to other dental technologies.

Combining the unique Ceramir technology with a light-cured matrixCeramir® Protect LC - Syringe is a light-cured, resin-modified Bioceramic pulp protectant for direct and indirect pulp capping. The significant release of calcium on moist tooth surfaces promotes the formation of hydroxyapatite as well as tertiary dentin, leading to safe pulp protection. A high alkaline pH level creates an environment hostile to bacteria, which is conducive for healing and protects against hypersensitivity.

Designed to minimize the risk of secondary decayCeramir Crown & Bridge distinguishes itself from all other cements – resins, glass ionomers and other water-based cements. Ceramir Crown & Bridge is a biocompatible, bioceramic cement that integrates with the tooth at the molecular level. Ceramir® Crown & Bridge 5 years in a row winner of best technology and most innovative cement.

When bioactivity matters!Ceramir® Restore QuikCap is a new resin-free and self-curing bioceramic restorative material. By combining a conventional glass ionomer with the Ceramir technology,
a tissue friendly and bioactive material is achieved. It can be used in the same indications as the conventional glass ionomer restoratives but with the added benefit of lower acid solubility, better chemical integration with teeth and beneficial mineralization properties. |
Designed to minimize the risk of peri-implant diseaseCeramir® Bioceramic Implant Cement is a permanent, radiopaque bioceramic cement with excellent handling properties. The good flowability and easy seating, which the Ceramir technology is known to provide is present in our self-setting Ceramir Bioceramic Implant Cement. The cement has an inherent ability to form a tight seal with ceramics and metals and is therefore optimal for implant cementation.
